International Contest: "Ask your Geographical Dictation question"

On March 15, the Russian Geographical Society launched the International Geographical Dictation question contest 2021.

The geographical dictation is the global educational initiative by the Russian Geographical Society. For the seventh time, it is to be held in fall 2021. The goal is to motivate the citizens to learn Russia’s geography and the Russian history of geographical discoveries.

Everyone, without any age oк citizenship limits, may offer his or her question. The only tight restriction is one person—one question. Russian Geographical Society, the project organizer, holds two contests, the international and the regional one. The applications shall be submitted before May 31 (inclusive).

• The questions asked by each contest finalists will be included into the Dictation contest tasks and/or will be used in quizzes within the Dictation promotion efforts with the reference to author.
• Every finalist will get the Certificate and promo code for 10% discount at RGS Internet store.
• The winners will get the Certificates and main prize—the open data travel certificate for a  RGS-recommended route. 
• Russian Geographical Society will also pay for the winners transportation to the central dictation venue in Moscow, where they may write the Dictation along with prominent scientists, explorers, and public figures.
