The monograph «Aerosol pollution of cities and its effects on weather forecasts, regional climate and geochemical processes” ed. by N. E. Chubarova [In Russian] is published.
In the monograph, the issues of atmospheric aerosol and its dynamics in the urban environment of Moscow Metropolis, are examined. Based on AeroRadCity integrated experiment of 2018-2019 comprising measurement campaign and numerical experiments with COSMO-ART chemico-transportation model, a series of new results was obtained for deeper understanding of atmospheric gas and aerosol structure in urbanized environment and humid aerosol precipitation with allowances made for current geochemical processes and aerosol radiative effects. Aerosol impact on atmospheric meteorological and radiation properties are assessed with the data of quantitative experiments with COSMO model and observations of many years; quantity effects of aerosol indirect impact on cloud properties and weather forecast are obtained.
