The FSC's main decision-making platform held every three years by the General Assembly has been rescheduled to 2021. This decision was made by the FSC International Board of Directors, which considered the uncertainties associated with COVID-19 and decided to postpone the event to protect the health of members, employees, supporters, and others.
In the Red Book of Russia another 43 species of animals were added
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation has updated the list of animal species included in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. FSC certified logging companies need to consider the list expansion when planning biodiversity conservation activities.
