Every year on the last Friday of September (25.09.20) the day of responsible forestry, FSC-Friday is celebrated around the world. This day aims to draw people's attention to the value of forests and raise awareness of how an ordinary person, a large company or entire countries can take care of forests - including with the help of FSC, the Forest Stewardship Council.
The documents necessary for the final approval of the standard have been collected and sent to FSC International. This means that soon the standard will be officially published on the FSC International website and will come into force.
