“Chernobyl: The disaster after-effects” Exhibition

The book exhibition «Chernobyl: The disaster after-effects» is open in the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology at its Ecology and Priority Disciplines and Technologies Room (room 210), from August 25 through October 18, 2021.
The monographs, related journal articles, conference proceedings, dissertation abstracts from RNPLS&T’s collection and library systems «IPRbooks», «Znanium», as well as from Elibrary.ru, LitRes: Library resources of 2012-2021, are included. The long experience of studies of radioactive pollution of Chernobyl-exposed territories is represented in the publications on the display; information on disaster radioecological after-effects for land and agrarian ecosystems, as well as for rural and forest economies within radioactively contaminated territories, is also in the focus. The impact of the disaster at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station on the social and economic situation in Russia is covered.
