On November 16-20, 2020, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science "Vologda Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences" are holding the Russian Scientific Forum "Ecology and Society: Balance of Interests".
The purpose of the forum is to create a discussion platform for discussing topical issues of harmonizing the interests of society, economy, and ecology. The Forum aims to bring together Russian scientists, politicians, representatives of civil society and business to discuss issues related to the problems of greening the economy and society and the transition of the state to a sustainable development model.
Discussions within the framework of the Forum on theoretical and empirical issues and the results of scientific research in these areas will summarize the variety of approaches to the study of modern environmental problems, will contribute to the search for management solutions to the implementation of strategic socio-ecological and economic priorities for the development of Russia and its regions.
