FSC International Board Incorporates FSC Core Labor Requirements into Chain of Custody Regulations
FSC has reached an important milestone by approving the incorporation of key FSC labor requirements into chain of custody (COC) regulations. As a result, the principles of the core conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (1998) are now integrated into FSC supply chain standards.

A workshop on requirements related to indigenous peoples and local communities will take place on February 9 at 10:00 Moscow time. Holders of FSC forest management certificates, auditors, consultants, stakeholders and anyone else are invited.
More than half a million hectares of valuable Pomorie forests will be preserved thanks to FSC certification
On December 29, the ULC group of companies, which operates in accordance with FSC standards, signed a moratorium agreement with WWF Russia on the voluntary conservation of 557 thousand hectares of forests. This arrangement was made possible by the requirements of the FSC voluntary forest certification.
