On May 25, 2022, the National Forum on Sustainable Development (https://events.vedomosti.ru/events/national22) was held in Moscow. This was the IV annual project of the Vedomosti business journal, dedicated to the professional discussion of strategic approaches and relevant decisions of business, the state and civil society in the field of achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The Forum included such events as:
– Strategic discussion. Russia-2022: global challenge and national priorities on the Russian business agenda;
– Round table. The level of social sustainability of cities and regions of Russia;
– Anti-crisis panel. How to manage changes in the ESG*? Practical advice from business to business.
During the discussion, there was a request to conduct educational work in the field of sustainable development and ESG among the population - and libraries can fill this niche.
Representatives of the Russian National Library for Science and Technology - Head of the Ecology and Sustainable Development Projects Group Elena F.Bychkova and junior researcher Maria A.Klimova attended the event.
