Exhibition "Cleaning of drains. From classics to new technologies"

The literature exhibition "Cleaning of drains. From classics to new technologies" was opened at the RSLS&T in the Reading room for ecology, priority sciences and technology developments (room 210) from June 30 to August 15.
Under natural conditions, for millions of years, water purification took place in seas, rivers and other bodies of water. There was a natural process of self-regulation of living ecosystems and self-purification of water. It proceeded slowly, but evolution successfully coped with it. Now nature is no longer able to cleanse itself. The technogenic load leads to an increase in the amount of waste. Prevention of wastewater pollution of water bodies, as well as protection of surface waters from wastewater pollution are the most important tasks facing modern society. How is this problem solved today? What new technologies are offered by developers in this area and how effective are they? You can learn about this from the materials of the exhibition.
