The book exhibition “Whythebatteriesarehazardous?” is open at the RNPLS&T’s Reading Room for Ecology and Priorities in Science and Technology on March 31—April 30, 2022.
The publications on display cover the issues of hazardous residential wastes: batteries and lighting devices, the types and classes of hazard of waste power supplies, and methods of waste disposal. You will learn why you should not throw batteries or accumulators out into garbage, how to collect them, how power elements are recycled, or who is in charge.
The exhibition is based on the publications in RNPLS&T’s collections, e.g. monographs, proceedings, textbooks and learning aids, as well as entries from Znanium.com digital system, and digital eLIBRARY.RU.
