The CD collection is dedicated to the memory of Olga Vladimirovna Pokrovskaya, a librarian and ecologist, who headed the department for ecological culture of the Russian State Library for Young Adults for 27 years, and subsequently headed the All-Russian Research and Methodological Center for Ecological Culture. She contributed a lot to developing ecological education and making it a vector of library activities.
The digest is issued by the Russian State Library for Young Adults in cooperation with the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology. It comprises the bibliography published on the occasion of the 85-th anniversary of Olga Vl. Pokrovskaya, reminiscences of her fellow employees and other colleagues who professionally communicated with Pokrovskaya for a long period of time. The collection also comprises the works by Olga Pokrovskaya and the materials by her department colleagues prepared with her personal contribution.
The CD is to pay tribute of respect to Olga V. Pokrovskaya, whose life will make an awesome example for the young library professionals.
The CD comprises slightly updated and amended edition of The Bibliography. Full texts are added to some records. Besides, the photo gallery is added to the CD.
