we invite you to take part in the Second International Online Conference “The libraries and ecological education: Theory and practice” to be held, under the aegis of the World Professional Form “The Book. Culture. Education. Innovations”, on the premises of the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology on October 27, 2022.
Ecological education and promotion of sustainable development goals are in the focus of the libraries. Generalizing the experience of the libraries, information centers, and educational organizations will make their efforts more effective. The open and accessible online site of the conference will enable to share the experience and to outline the strategies in this area.
The traditional section “Ecological information and ecological culture” within the framework of the world professional forum “The Book. Culture. Education. Innovations” was seen as the platform for the librarians working in ecological education and information. Since 2018, the section has expanded to the conference format.
In 2020, the organizers made the decision to hold the first online conference to attract more librarians, museum and educational professionals interested in these issues.
In 2022, the Second International Online Conference “The libraries and ecological education: Theory and practice” will take place.
The attendance in the conference is free-of-charge. We invite librarians, specialists of information centers, non-profit organizations, cultural and educational institutions.
For presentations, we accept original papers of theoretical or practical value, relevant to the specified subject scope, and not published anywhere before.
In followup of the Conference, the digital proceedings will be published.
