LIBCOM Annual International Conference "Information Technologies, Computer Systems and Publications for Libraries" has been held since 1997.
Thematically, the Conference focuses on the following problem areas:
- current state and prospects for newest information, computer and Internet technologies in library and information practice,
- library corporations,
- e-libraries,
- legal issues of librarianship and information providers,
- bibliometric and scientometric studies.
Since 2003, within the framework of the Conference and complying with its subject scope, sessions and discussions are held systematically to examine the libraries activities related to ecology and sustainable development.
